Her audiences have included Madonna, Michael Stipe of R.E.M, Ambassador Aziz Mekouar of Morocco, Rumi translator Coleman Barks, author Dannion Brinkley ( "Saved by the Light"), and Omar Faruk Tekbilek. |

An early proponent of the Atlanta Belly Dance scene, Asha is gifted in both Turkish Gypsy (Romani) style, and Turkish Cabaret. Asha's repetoire also includes Indian Classical Dance - Tanjore Style, and Rajasthani Gypsy Folk Dance. Her specialty dances include the Guedra, a dance of the Moroccan nomadic tribes, and the Hawaiian Hula. |

Asha uses authentic costumes, and brings to life the traditional customs, and sacred images of the cultures her dances represent. Currently, Asha's solo performances include regular appearances at the Seen Gallery, numerous weddings and gatherings. She also accompanies the Atlanta-based Turkish band "Emrah Kotan and the Sultans." |
