Music. No other single element of your wedding celebration has the power to move your guests and engage the emotions of all in attendance the way beautiful music does. Music that is exquisitely performed by a professional string quartet also serves an integral role in leading the ceremony processions and enabling it to flow seamlessly. Since 1990, the Amadeus String Ensemble has specialized in performing fine classical music for wedding ceremonies and receptions in the Atlanta area. The mission of the ASE is to provide outstanding personal service and deliver a flawless performance to create an atmosphere of elegance, sophistication, and romance for your wedding ceremony. Since 1990, the Amadeus String Ensemble has specialized in performing fine classical music for wedding ceremonies and receptions in the Atlanta area. The ASE was founded by husband-wife violinists Sou-Chun Su and Sheela Iyengar with the vision of providing the best musical services for weddings in the city. Sou-Chun is the Associate Principal Second Violin of the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra, and Sheela also performs frequently with the ASO. Together, they collaborate with Atlanta’s most talented musicians to bring you elegant classical music for your wedding ceremony, reception or special occasion. Our full-time professional musicians perform regularly with the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra, the Atlanta Opera, the Atlanta Ballet and many other ensembles in the Atlanta area. All our members hold advanced degrees from the most prestigious conservatories in the world and have years of experience performing for weddings and special events. On a different note, our musicians have also recorded on albums for artists such as R. E. M. (Automatic for the People), the Indigo Girls, Kelly Price, and have commercial credits for Coca-Cola, Delta, Disney, Georgia Power, and CNN. Over the years, we have achieved distinction as the leading wedding ensemble in Atlanta. As a result, we have received rave reviews and personal referrals from hundreds of satisfied brides. The ASE has also established an excellent reputation with many of the special event venues in Atlanta. We are proud to be on the preferred vendors list for the Four Seasons Hotel, Primrose Cottage, Cator Woolford Garden, Villa Christina, Houston Mill House, Fernbank Museum and numerous other facilities and churches in the Atlanta area.
